Ribbon Storage

Beryl's Ribbon Storage

After months of frustration at not having decent storage for my ribbons I designed my own perfect solution. No longer do I have a tangled mess, knotted ribbon & no idea of how much is actually left.

To make my storage unit you need:

1 Set of Drawers ( mine were purchased at Whitcoulls when they were on special)

1 trip to the local Picture Framing Store to ask for the matt board off cuts.

1 pencil

1 very sharp Fiskars craft knife

1 cutting board

1 ruler

and lots of time & patience.

Measure the width & depth of your set of drawers to get the measurements that you will need to cut the matt board.

Now it is up to you how many slots you want for your ribbon. With my narrow ribbons I have cut out seven slots for them.

Hope you can understand what is needed from the template diagram.

Give it a go & enjoy seeing your beautiful ribbons displayed in all their glorious color, with no more tangles.

If you wish to share this idea with others please give recognisation, where it is due, thank you.

Made with Love, Beryl
