Love Hearts & Celtic Antique Quilt

  

Who would believe that  on the 23 July 2005, all this fabric, & batting could be turned into an Antique Quilt.

 

 Well 64 blocks & lots of sewing, lots of reverse sewing, the blocks took shape.

 A Queen size bed quilt was almost completed .  

 Cross hatching sewing was needed on 32 half blocks to create the border,

alas it was not to be so what too do..........

Friends said just put a binding on & get it finished, so that is what I am doing after all these years. The binding is pinned on just waiting to go to the sewing machine to attach & then on to friends to hand sew it. Out come — one day soon it will grace the top of our bed.
